My Birthday- Another Opportunity at Life

OH EM GEE!!! It’s my birthday- I have another opportunity at life. Today’s blog post is definitely a different one; so I will be sharing what I have learned and will be changing in my life with the new year.

Before I get into the whole gist, I just want to take this moment to express my gratitude to God, for who I am today. whew!!!!

Since it’s my birthday and today’s post is all about “My Birthday- Another Opportunity at Life”.

I think its fair to share some of the changes we’ll be making with the new age.

If I am being completely honest with myself, the majority of change is more mental for me.

The first thing I learned this year (I know the year just started) is that I am in charge. Yes, I am in charge of what and who I let affect me. A little secret about is, I am an emotional person.

Most people don’t know that about me, but sometimes I let my emotions get the best part of me.

With that being said, I know that I only give power to what I let control my emotions.

So from now on, I will not be emotionally invested in what people think about me (this includes what they think they know).

Being an adult puts a lot of things in perspective for me, I cant waste time anymore on irrelevant things. If I want something I should definitely stop doubting myself and take a plunge.

I believe birthdays are a great opportunity to reflect and make changes as needed.
